by Cindy Woodsmall & Miriam Flaud

ISBN 978-0-307-45934-3

pages 224

This book is divided into about 50 devotionals and has recipes also. The devotionals have beautiful life lessons. It is not fiction it is part memoir and part devotional, literature and a how to book.It is very authentic feeling because Miriam is Old Order Amish.

She speaks honestly about the blessings and challenges of her days. Both women respect each others lifestyles and have learned from each other.

Cindy shares how she balances parenting, homeschooling  and a career. They both also talk about marriage, cooking, gardening, cleaning, children and careers. they discuss some of there private struggles they have. What drew these two women together  was the respect and love believers  have for a kindred spirit that comes from having the same God.They hope readers will feel their spirit of sisterhood.
